Cheerleader & Lioness: I usually march to the beat of my own drum, but as you Lioness, also allow for myself to go with the flow of some trusted people or at times when I think it's the what's best for me... sometimes my way isn't always the right way, and sometimes it is.

I try to go with the flow but I hear the drum differently. I can't help but go with my own march

I go with the flow......my drum would have me working nights and sleeping days but my 4 children need a mom home at night and awake during the days!

Depends on the situation. But in general, I'm too much of a control freak, the only child and too comfortable in my own space, by myself, so it's hard for me to go with someone else's flow. I need to know where I'm going, how, how long, with who, why---too complicated and stressful for me to just go LOL I only trust a few people to let them take me with their flow :)

I lead myself in the direction that I am going-so I march to the beat of my own drum. I am nobody's flunky!!

So, I'd prefer going with the flow to marching alone to the beat of my own drum.
This is what we call universal education!

I was once asked this before, my answer is the same now as it was then.
I do everything my way. However, if you have a good idea or suggestion, I'm very likely to adopt it and make it 'my way'.
