It's a horrible feeling. I was shaking so har. My mucles are sore for being tense and shaking. That was the weirdest feeling I think I have ever felt. I felt so out of control. Has anythingf like that ever happened to you? Explain!

yeah once when I was driving back from new orleans to my parents house. This truck started moving into my lane and I didn't have time to slow down and there was no lane to pull oveer. So I screamed at the top of my lungs and was pushed into the side which was very narrow and i could have gone off the edge. the truck should have been reported but I had to pull over so I couldn't get its number. I was very upset over it. This was about 6 months before Hurrican Katrina happened.

Yes, twice. The first time I kept thinking that I was going to have a car accident that might cause my death. But since I wasn't into listening to my "inner Angel" talking to me then, I thought it was just that I didn't want to go to work that day. The feeling was so strong, and so persistent, but I kept ignoring it. Until finally, half a block from my office, I had the most horrible car accident. I came so close to dying. What saved my life was wearing a seat belt, but even so, I was really hurt. Forever more, I listen to that little voice that whispers in my ear. I know it's my "inner Angel" talking to me to keep me safe.

The second time I actually did go into the hospital and I did almost die. That was the closest to death I ever want to be. But what this last incidence did was to give me a real appreciation for life. I don't ever take it, or my time here, for granted. I look at the time I spend with those I love most in this world as the greatest joy. So going through an experience like thinking you are going to die can have a positive affect on you too. It can keep your senses sharp and it could be your "inner Angel" telling you to "see" something and beware. I know it's scary though... I hope you are feeling better.

Sounds like a panic attack. I had one after being locked inside a tanning coffin and I was very stoned at the time.

It sounds funny now, but it wasn't when it happened. I have learned to realize the mind is one of the most important variables to my health and general feeling of well being. So, I just chill now. ; )

Yeah, today. My brain like, shivered. It was the weirdest thing. It felt like it was shaking, then it went back to normal. I thought I was having an aneurysm or something.

I got that way after the death of my partner and the horrid treatment by her family. I wanted to kill one of the females but somehow walked away. Some days later I began to have shaking fits, could not sleep, lost my job and began drinking heavily at night. Everclear and absinthe is not a good mix.. Crying jags followed but on one sober occasion, I rang my brother and asked for help. His family took me in and made arrangements for my treatment for suicidal depression and alcoholism.
Please PLEASE see a doctor. This is too serious to ignore.

I have heard many people feel this way when they come down from a "high" and are not sure when they can recapture the "high". Quitting COLD TURKEY feels like dying.

yeah,i had been thinking and planning out my suicide, and one day when i went with my sister to enroll in college,i felt like i was gonna die,my head felt very light, and i felt like i wasnt in my body, and something telling me that i should use my time wisely cuz i was about to expire, then my psychic friend contacted me and told me that he had a dream about my,he told me that he saw me in a disfigured body in a limbo state, and i wasnt in this world anymore,so that made me think twice about suicide, though i am not sure yet
