I really wanted to name my son after my husband but for some reason my husband Dustin hates Jr.'s!! He says he wants our son to have his own identity because at the time it was enough for him that he might look exactly like him!! SO we agreed on his first name and my husband let me atleast give our son my husband's middle name!! Our son is Mason Lee and he just turned 3 months!! Now my husband wants me to give our first daughter my middle name as OUR own little tradition!! I think it's cute!! My in-laws "Own" name tradition was to name their kids starting with the letter "D" which to me is so annoying because my mother in-law will go through the whole list of D names just to get to my husbands name, it's almost like role call or a bad case of studdering with the letter D!!! hope this helps and congrats!!!

We didn't have a name picked out and we named our daughter 2 days after she was born. We gave her a name that neither of us had even considered, and it is perfect.
Maybe when you meet your son you will know what his name is supposed to be.
