this is there year, and i have a feeling that destny is on there side.and not luck like some pepole think(winning 21-22 games is not luck by the way,it's talent).if they do win,do you think some of the star players would leave the team, and move on to bigger ones?or would you think they would be loyal, and ignore the big bucks.

I agree 100%! And by just looking at the guys on the team...especially Holliday, Tulo, Hawpe, and all the younger guys...they probably wouldn't leave the Rockies if you would pay them all the money in the world! They know a good ball club when they're playing for one, and I don't think even winning the World Series will change these guys! I know Helton will probably stay with the Rocks until he retires! He's just such a great player and he's stuck with them this long, so why not, right? Also, Helton is such a great role model for the younger players such as Tulo because he's been around the block a couple times....Well, not this particular block...lol!
I also agree about what you said about destiny and "luck"...who says there is luck?! (obviously Byrnes does...yawn).......2007 really is the Rockies' year!
GO ROCKIES!

If the Rockies win 25 of their last 30, 29, 28, 27 or even 26 games, You can bet your bottom big buck every Rockie will want to play for the greatest team in baseball.

Not too sure if they would leave for big bucks elsewhere (yanks?) The great part about the Rockies talent is that they are, for the most part, homegrown. Most of them worked their way up through the minors and we still have tons of talent still working their way to the bigs. I'm excited Helton has gotten the chance to play in the playoffs and should get the chance to play in the world series. He has been loyal to the franchise despite their losing ways in the past and that is something that deserves to be rewarded.

I hope that some of them stay if the team wins it all, but the owner will also probably have something to say about who stays because of the fear of higher salaries. That happened a couple times to the Marlins after they won both of the World Series Titles that they won.

Most of the team is already locked up with long term contracts, and they're still only at $52 mil a year... no luxury tax here... Take that Steinbrenner.

Go Rockies!!!

I hope they stay onto the Rockies. Those bigger teams are good enough already. The Rockies wouldnt be much without them (no offence)

I hope they win it all, they deserve it. I hope all of their players stay. My Mets will have some competition next year.
