People who need to impress you with how smart they are or how dumb they want you to be are just showing their weak points. Being seen as smart or smarter than you must be really important to them. Common sense tells you that hair color has nothing to do with being smart. I guess it goes back to Hollywood and the dumb blond bombshell. Check out Marilyn Monroe-that was her claim to fame. . .oh yea, and scr*wing the married president and getting murdered. If someone is stupid enough to really believe that, use it to your advantage. . .maybe you can sell them a bridge. . .

While I generally feel that arrogance in any form is undesirable, and criticizing anything for the sake of criticizing is equally so, I think it's fair to say that most atheists make it a point to justify or rationalize their position. Not all do, and the ones who don't are just as guilty as the theists they so often attack. Does this rationalization make one more intelligent? Not necessarily, but it does provide some critical thinking skills that allows someone to understand things from more than one perspective. Also, I think it's fair to distinguish between attacking Christians and attacking Christianity (or other dogmatic positions). Let's not mix up the two. I'd say that attacking people based upon their belief system is a sign of immaturity, not a lack of intelligence. Also, sometimes intelligent and mature people cathartically act out because they are feeling frustrated. Maybe they've had a long day dealing with religious people. Does it excuse immature behaviour? Not necessarily, but it does show that all of us could use a little more understanding, tolerance, and patience with one another - theist and atheist alike.

Well, I havent noticed brunettes acting like their smarter than blondes but I think it's the other way around cause most of the blondes at my school are very smart, some of the smartest. So you cant really judge somebody's smarts by their hair color.
Also nobody's really smarter than someone else. They just have more knowledge on a specific subject. Like someone may have more knowledge on mathmatics while someone else may have more knowledge of ancient history. Everyone is different and no one has the right to criticise someone else of there knowledge.

Its just one of those stereotypes sweetie. I have met smart blonde people..and I have also met some pretty ignorant brunettes. Also, if people judge how smart someone is just by hair color..they must not be very intelligent themselves.
Am I offended by these people? Not really, I just pity those that cannot look past the outter surface of people. They could be passing up what could be a great friendship, or relationship in general.

It doesn't bother me if they really are smarter than me.
Like, if they have really dark-brown OR black hair . . .
;-)
