We don't know what exactly you plan to use them for?

The most important thing is comfort. Also, if you're buying them for a production you need to find out if they prefer black or tan. Most will have about a 2" heel. If you're younger ir really tall you may want to ask about a smaller heel. I would go with Capezio, Danshuz, Leo, or Bloch but feel free to try on any brand so long as they feel good and look to be made well. If you plan to put taps on them, get a referral from your teacher on where to go because too many shoe places will place the taps incorrectly! Personally I thought the Danshuz 3417 were the most comfortable and they're inexpensive, but that was just my personal preference. My daughter likes the Capezio and Bloch.

good lucK!

You shouldnt get anything too high because you want to be able to dance but you dont want to get anything too low. Get comfortable but sensible and eligent! good luck on shopping! And by the way, depending on if you are growing still or not, you shouldnt get too expensive ones because you may only use them for a year or two. but if you are planning to use them for a while, go make yourself happy!
