This is what is called the Charge of The Goddess....pay particular attention to the last two verses.

Now listen to the words of the Great Mother,
who was of old also called among men Artemis, Astarte, Athene, Dione, Melusine, Aphrodite, Cerridwen, Dana, Arianrhod, Isis, Bride, and by many other names. At her altars, the youth of Lacedaemon in Sparta made due sacrifice.
Whenever ye have need of any thing,
once in the month,
and better it be when the moon is full,
then shall ye assemble in some secret place, and adore the spirit of me,
who am Queen of all witches.
There shall ye assemble, ye who are fain to learn all sorcery,
yet have not won its deepest secrets;
to these will I teach things that are as yet unknown.
And ye shall be free from slavery;
and as a sign that ye be really free,
ye shall be naked in your rites;
and ye shall dance, sing, feast, make music and love, all in my praise.
For mine is the ecstasy of the spirit,
and mine also is joy on earth;
for my law is love unto all beings.
Keep pure your highest ideal;
strive ever towards it, let naught stop you or turn you aside;
for mine is the secret door which opens upon the land of youth,
and mine is the cup of wine of life,
and the cauldron of Cerridwen,
which is the Holy Grail of immortality.
I am the gracious Goddess,
who gives the gift of joy unto the heart of man.
Upon earth, I give the knowledge of the spirit eternal;
and beyond death, I give peace, and freedom,
and reunion with those who have gone before.
Nor do I demand sacrifice;
for behold, I am the Mother of all living,
and my love is poured out upon the earth.
Hear ye the words of the Star Goddess;
she in the dust of whose feet are the hosts of heaven,
whose body encircles the universe.
I who am the beauty
of the green earth and the white moon upon
the mysteries of the waters,
I call upon your soul to arise and come unto me.
For I am the soul of nature
that gives life to the universe.
From me all things proceed and unto me
they must return.
Let My worship be in the
heart that rejoices, for behold,
all acts of love and pleasure
are My rituals.
Let there be beauty and strength,
power and compassion,
honor and humility,
mirth and reverence within you.
And you who seek to know me,
know that the seeking and yearning
will avail you not,
unless you know the Mystery:
for if that which you seek,
you find not within yourself,
you will never find it without.
For behold,
I have been with you from the beginning,
and I am that which is attained
at the end of desire.

Magic is real, witchcraft is simply magic practiced by witches. Magic is a force and people are born with that force within them so for most people it is clear if they are magical (a witch or wizard) or not. Magic manifests itself in many ways and is tied to your emotions.

The Charge of the Goddess is clearly religious and I see not what it has to do with magic. The question referred to magic alone not religion. The two are not always linked. Witches and wizards are individuals some are religious others not. However that does not make magic religious. One cannot dictate the religious belief or not of all magical people.

pondering that's a spell directed at 3 Archangels, i discover the comments concerning Satanism relaxing. yet no, it doesnt sound like a real spell to me. a real spell may well be one that, having a minimum of a straightforward expertise of witchcraft, you have written your self. generally although, while casting a spell, that's everyday custom to no longer tell everyone approximately it.

You can be working a craft that Christians named people Witches for working as soon as you wish. you can be trying to dowse or working with a pendulum in hours. Though it may take you years to become proficient. It isn't the title, it is the person and what abilities they have or can develop.

Real witchcraft does not work like harry potter. Either you have a natural gift for it or you can be taught to practise.

You don't REALLY think it works do you? if you do, then join other beliefs that work on the same line for people who are just a little below average on the old brain department, like, the flat earth society, Atlantis is real, We come from outer space, Alchemists etc. There is no such thing as a magic spell, witches were people who were persecuted because they were disliked as ordinary people by superstitious idiots, they cannot turn you into a toad or give you warts but there are people out there who rely on certain levels of the population who cannot distinguish make believe from reality, if one of your answerer's want to put a curse on me go ahead, it is drivel, oh and by the way, spell casters, if you succeed, revenge is swift and extremely violent, bare that in mind

Just make up a spell but really believe it will work. I've told fortunes with 3 quarters and hexed a woman to the point she nearly vomitted herself to death. I've never been initiated or even self initated. The only difference between my neighbors and I is I tell myself "I am a witch so therefore it will work"

What do you want to do if you could make it work? Be careful you should really think about what you are asking and involving yourself in if you do pursue this.
