In the event of a Ron Paul nomination, either as the GOP candidate or the Libertarian party candidate or an independent candidacy, I think his best choice for a VP candidate is Oklahoma Senator Tom Coburn.

Preposterous as it sounds... even Huckabee is being seen by some as 'unelectable' because of his name; with that in mind, what do you give the chances of the Jeff Flake suggestion?

I will look into him via the link you provided and, time permitting, give more substantial opinions.

Hmmm reading his bio the first thing I'd wanna know is if he's a CFR member.

It looks like RIGHT NOW (10/15/07) Ron Paul is EXTREMELY UNLIKELY to get the nomination. It is USELESS to consider a running mate until nominated. Even Hillary does not respond when asked and she has at least a CHANCE to get the nomination, unless.....Al Gore gets in.
