Perhaps our purpose in life is just to live. Perhaps it is just to live, learn, experience, know... and then pass all that onto someone else, a child, a friend, a lover, so that, in essence, you live on through them. Perhaps the purpose then is to be immortal by being remembered.

I was conceived without purpose when my parents didn't feel like using condoms. They decided to keep me so that my older brother would have a playmate, which I don't think is a good reason to have additional children. I was raised by parents without any sort of plan or strategy for raising children. I don't believe in God or religion. I don't plan to have any children. I do not feel lucky or privileged just to live. The only things that make life worthwhile to me are learning and feeling pleasure. Other than that, I don't think there is a purpose.

My purpose in life is to be the best mother that I can be and the best mentor to the children that I interact with. I feel that since I have such a great rapport with children that it's my life's work to help them and that's one reason that I advocate for children with learning disabilities. I have one so I know what it's like and I know how hard I had to work to get my daughter's the help that they needed when they were and are in school. I have one still in high school. I really think that my purpose in life is to be a mother and a mentor to children.

If given a choice , just give up the struggle and stay afloat .
Since choice is not mine and I have little control over it , I would love to live though honestly - the day I die , I would be missed .

To accept the ever constant change - a little Buddhism.
On a personal note: learn as much as I can while I am alive. Open to experiences . Give my all in mothering my child and all my other relationships.

if you don`t know your purpose yet, you shall get to it now cause life just fly by and don`t wait for you, so no, you don`t have much time, i can tell you that. when you don`t know your purpose in life it`s usualy because you don`t know yourself, the talents and gifts that you can have. i guess that it`s time for you to get to know yourself. so that you can know what you like and dislike of life and the peoples. then you`ll know what you want, and your purpose in life.

People ask this question as if they were put on earth for a reason. That kind of question requires God. I think some people really mean "what have you selected as goals for yourself?". Goals would not require God.
But purpose of life requires God and meaning of life requires God.
