Troy was more modest. A lot of stuff on 300 wasn't necessary and catered to the acne-ridden, 16-year-old boys that play Grand Theft Auto and sport bleached hair.
300 could've been a work of art if they didn't put so much nudity in it. Mix nudity in with blood and gore and it is definitely a sell out. I did think the acting was top-notch, though.

300! this movie has started a new generation of these kinds of movies. a kind of movie that is visually exciting and cool to watch instead of the movies being made to look like they were filmed back in the time they were set. 300 had great music, instead of the banjo and harmonica they had rock music which got the adrenalin pumping while we watched 300 men take thousands of other men....and Elephants!!!

300 was so close to the truth, it was not funny. Troy...well Homer would not have recognised the story

My favourite between the flicks suggested the following is three hundred. My favourite line, "do not provide them something, yet take from them each and everything." both Gerard Butler and Russell Crowe were surprising actors. They were ideal for his or her section. Brad Pitt is in basic terms too noticeably... guy...i could not settle on between Butler and Crowe...
