- sanskrit-based chants (so.... the human voice)

- guitar (blues, especially)

- pan (steel) drums
- the serpentine (a Renaissance instrument)
- the Hang (a sort of finger struck pan drum)
- the human voice used in overtone and Tuvan throat singing
