What do I do, I like to watch television, computer, music too much. Also, I don't have a recognition of time so I am not good at paying attention to time. Also, I don't think I can ever really get the motivation to want to do my work if I could be having fun instead. How do I get over this???

Also, I may be in a long term depression because of the death of my mother like 5 years ago according to a psychologist.

And also, I may have something called ADHD which is supposably what my father had. The psychologist I saw said it was genetic and that I may have it, or it may be just the long term depression

yeah, and you can't stop homosexuality because it is genetic.

Stop wasting time on the computer and DO YOUR WORK.

There is no way to "fix" this condition. The very act of trying to remedy it is actually procrastinating getting over it.

"I'll make a list of what i should do!" (maybe until next year?)
"I'll make a schedule" (how should you go about organizing that?)
"i'll look for a cure on the internet" (oh cool, new email, gotta reply to them all, first!)

Just use your willpower to resist. Remove TV from your workspace, and write down what you need to do on paper, and only use the computer as a last resort and as the last thing to work on.

like another question i replied "hope will not fix problems, only action will"

Discipline. Slap yourself if you realize what you did.

So before i turn this answer into an essay for you to get addicted to, GO DO YOUR JOB.

EDIT: stop Replying to your answer! You are exacerbating the problem!

Write a list of things that need to be done. This will let you visualize what needs to be done and a checklist will help motivate you to start to get things done. Oh and stop wasting your money on the pyschologist, you have ADHD, SO WHAT! A lot of people have it and live productive lives. Stop making excuses and get off your @ss and do something.

I saw an answer that said I'll tell you later but it got deleted. You suck as a question asker, and can't take what people say to you, then you are on the wrong site.

Go outside with a tin of red paint and paint something random, it doesnt need to be a big thing just something that you will always be able to see to remind you that life can be exciting and you WILL indeed feel so much better with everything, true story.

placed electric alligator clips on the ends of your arms. Then, whenever you slack off, have somebody ask your self the frickin' hell out of you! i could think of you would be doing issues in a prioritized style very right away flat.

best way for me to prevent myself from doing stuff i like is to get rid of it. i used to be obsessed with starcraft so i wouldn't do my hw. one day i just threw it away and started to get hw done.

a good way to get yourself ready for homework is to get some exercise. exercise opens up your mind and then you'll be good.
