Where is the apartment featured in NBC's Chuck, A Lot Like Love, and Til There Was You?

I know that NBC's Chuck now uses a soundstage inside of Warner Bros., but where is the actual apartment building? A news article says it's somewhere in Hollywood.

I htough it was on ABC property till i sew the entrance of it maybe in Venice beach area, close too Abc property though remember canal in Starsky and Hutch the T.V. serie filmed on location on ABC property near Mariara del Rey area which is south of venice beach area...
all part of the old MGM backlot... t.V. same house property as melrose place???

The inside of his apartment and the courtyard scenes are shot in a studio. The outside of his apartment is an apartment complex in hollywood

To me, it looks very much like the apartment complex and apartment they used for Melrose Place.
