If most people in America feel that our Elected Officals are over paid then how...?

I previously asked a question if the American people felt that our Elected officals are over paid and I asked them if they thought that it was fair that they could vote themselves a raise when they wanted one. I also asked if the People thought that they should have to be on Social Security instead of having the special health care plan that they have. The Answer was absoultly YES! So with that Established How do we stop them from receiving special medical plans, and how do we stop them from voting themselves a raise?

What Ron Paul points out, is that while in politics, these people cannot keep their outside job. For example, Ron Paul cannot go and deliver babies in his time off. Because of this, politicians are reliant on money from taxpayers as employment (allthough they are mostly million and billionares anyway). And given the chance for a employee to vote themselves pay raises and benefits, they do what is expected.

Ron Paul would prefer congress made up of real citizens who have real jobs, instead of career politicians. Once we can get to that point, their roll representing he people, will award them with no benefits, and the problem is solved. It also gets rid of career politicians, and replaces them with minds who want to do good for the Nation.
