Can a BUTTERNUT squash be dried and made into a bird house? Thanks for your help.?

No, you will need to plant bird house gourds, these must be left to dry and will get moldy, when they are dry you clean the outside with bleach water to remove the mold then drill hole for the birds and seal with shellac.

No, its get moldy after awhile and will fall apart.
