Who really believes this nonsense?

Quoted in part from article.

*Gasoline prices have been moving lower in recent months as supplies have grown and demand has ebbed with the end of peak summer driving season. Crude oil, meanwhile, has surged on a mix of concerns about growing global demand, falling inventories and an influx of speculative investment money.*

In truth - The nation’s three largest oil companies — Exxon Mobil Corp., Chevron Corp. and ConocoPhillips are crooks.

Want to know the truth about these three big oil companies? Check out how many refineries they had opened for years doing the work they are crying about now. Our gas prices were much lower when most, if not all of the refineries were opened.

These three big oil companies joined together in collusion to fix gasoline prices for the sole purpose to rip off the American, and global people for their own self interests and profit gains.

How did they do this?

They closed down 60 refineries that were perfectly fine and in good working condition. The ones they left open were the ones that in certain seasons of the year would be "effected" by these seasonal weather patterns. They used the hurricane seasons, and storms to claim that it hurt their refineries. They used approaching travel holidays to "clean the pipes" or "replace the pipes" to raise fuel prices. They agreed with each other not to open any of the refineries closed to increase productions of fuel for the consumers, and to keep fuel prices low. They maniplulated the market for big profits. Now the three big oil companies want you, and me to cry for them after stealing us blind and openingly all these years. Perhaps they shouldn't have promised their Ex-CEO's such big Golden Retirement Packages when they left these big companies. Or pay their new CEO's such big salaries, perks, and benefits now.

Not once did Government step in to protect the consumers against these crooks.

They , along with other companies, are an international cartel which divides up markets and resources and works through compliant governments and politicians to control production and pricing with minmal regulation. They give the lie to the classic capitalist credo of free markets and competition - two things you will never see in the oil and gas industry. As for how they do it, ask Dick Cheney - he knows the answers. And good luck!

The profits of the American oil companies are running a record high of about 9%.

Do you really want to tie up your IRA mutual funds in that? Especially when Hilliary wants to confiscate their measly profits?

Better to stick with financials and banking funds and get a 20% or so return....
