i really like music,
old stuff like chet baker, tony bennet, frank sinatra....
groove like erykah badu, usher, brian mcknight
acoustics & avant gard licks like john mayer, DMB,
jazz like dave brubeck, dave koz, diana krall
standards like steve tyrell, props to anyone who attempts a new twist on an old song
contemplative & smart like coldplay, maroon 5, sting, five for fighting
mainstream rock like nickleback,
old school alternative like nirvana, pearl jam, live, chili peppers.
i can dig the hippy love power of 5th dimension and i love all the soul songs of the 70s and 80s--lionel richie, peaches & herb, stevie, whitney.....("what?! friends can skate to 'endless love' in the dark!")
don't forget the two best bands of all times, chicago and the beatles!
...also, i was in middle & high school in the late 80s and early 90s, okay, so i still need some bobby brown, edie brickell, depeche mode, george michael, too! ha ha!
finally, add a healthy dose of worship songs, anything from kutless to israel houghton
