Someone who's going for a distant run, what tips can I give?
I have:
- Warm up before running (stretch!)
- Comfortable clothing
- Eat healthy breakfast
- Breathing patterns
- Pace yourself
- Drink water
- Good running shoes
I need 5 more!
Please help!!
And can you explain one of the above (or one of your own) tips in more detail?

eat carbohydrates the night before (like spaghetti)
dress for the weather..layer up..if cold and discard as you run
wear a watch
stretch after you run too..so the lactic acids will not build up.
always carry ID in case you get sick and pass out.

- Try not to concentrate on the running too hard. take your mind off of it and just let the running come natrually.
- Don't eat fattening or unhealthy foods. Also, soda will not quench your thirst and it will be much harder to run.

comfortable/appropriate clothing~
Breath deeply (otherwise you get stitch)
Dont drink to much water before you start the distant run (otherwise you get stitch)
Try breathe through your nose
