Here is a list of fish that usually make good tank mates for Oscars. Large Plecostomus and other large Neotropical Cichlids such as Texas Cichlids, Jack Dempseys, and Salvini
Oscars are also often seen in aquariums with White Tip Sharks, Tinfoil Barbs, Clown Knife Fish, Black Barred Tiger Fish, a group of Large Clown Loaches, and some large Eels such as a Snow Flake Eel.
Silver Dollars can get to be 6 to 7 inches... but Oscars, which can be more agressive, can get slightly bigger than that.
I've had problems with agressive ocars even in 100 gallon tanks eating other fish... so you need to be careful
make sure they're all fed properly and have enough territory per fish.

Oscars can usually go with most aggressive fish if they are of equal size and introduced into the aquarium the proper way. However, Angelfish are not a good idea. They are simply too fragile for an aggressive tank and do not get big enough to go in with a full sized Oscar. The silver dollar will probably work, the only catch is that they don't grow nearly as quick as oscars and sevrums so that could be a problem. You will have no problem with your pleco. Good luck!

Yes they can, but that's not totally advisable. Angel's are much slower moving and have less bulk to them then Oscars. When your Oscar is done growing, you can expect the adult size of that fish to be around 14-18 inches solid. Oscars are advantagous eaters, which means fish that can fit in it's mouth usually get targeted. The silver dollar and pleco should stay well out of that range. The severum probably would as well, but this is a rather peaceful type fish and the boundries of a full sized adult Oscar would probably end up exerting some stress on that Sevrum. You could give it a shot with all, minus the angel, and if the sevrum starts getting stressed, relocate it.

Ive had oscars for half my life, and never had a problem with them and other fish except one, Pacus', as long as you keep them fed and enough space to own, you should be ok. I dont know what a sevrum is, but the others I do and have had them with my oscars, and of different varieties, tigers, albino, etc. And do not stress them, like not changing the water correctly, not adding or incorrectly adding the mineral neutralizer to water, and most important is water filter. They get diseased real easily!
Good Luck

It's possible, if you have a very large tank, say 100+ gallons. And, it just depends on your oscar's personality and how territorial your oscar is, because he would most likely be the most aggressive of them all in the tank.

i think of oscars improve extra like a million-2 inches in a month through volume of nutrition they consume. I provide you credit to comprehend they are able to't stay in a 20, and that i think of given the way you're esitmating thier growth, you in all threat are not waiting to flow them in simple terms yet. Oscars through fact they consume plenty require extra advantageous filtration then you certainly could different fish. Your good judgment on putting fish a minimum of as huge as that's is genuine, yet i think of nonetheless at that length of a tank, that is in simple terms no longer likely to artwork out ok. i think of you would be extra useful off in simple terms waiting for that larger tank first. good acquaintances for Oscars could be pleco's or channel cats that are backside feeders and does no longer compete with them for nutrition. Arowana's like I even have are suited point fish and in no way had subject concerns. you would be waiting to abode some extra non violent cichilds like Labs, peacocks and haps that in case you had adequate rocks and caves, yet once you are trying this, i could placed them in togeather. i genuinely does no longer attempt this in the style of small tank. The Oscar will improve quickly and in actuality take over. He/she is going to make sure those different cichilds as opposition while it grows and take them on quickly. Now as quickly as he's super, in case you grant adequate hide that at his length he can't get in, that would artwork. the actual trick is to grant it sufficient room that it could be content textile to no longer attack, yet at a foot long, thats ALOT of area you will need. to me that sounds like a mess. no angelfish, period. however, the others might work, but only if you have at least a 100 gallon tank.
