"Bush sent our boys into the rats nests of fallujah on a door -to-door basis as if they're selling Avon. You cannot fight a politically correct war and expect to win it. Nor can you fight a politically correct occupation and win it."
"There is only one tactical principal which is not subject to change. It is to use the means at hand to inflict the maximum amount of wound, death, and destruction on the enemy in the minimum amount of time."
"[On quote above] Does that sound harsh? It is, should be. War is hell, not a video game."
"No bastard ever won a war by dying for his country. He won it by making the other poor dumb bastard die for his country."
Do you agree with General Patton and Mr. Savage?

"Those are NOT political views!
We won the "war" in short order. Now we are imbroiled in "rebuilding" the nation we defeated."
These are political views considering how the goverment insists on fighting a politicaly correct war.
"Now, if you want debate on the justification for war, just let me know!"
my quesiton is not about what you think about bush, so please stick to the question and only the question. thank you.

I believe that these quotes are saying that we should not worry so much about what the media megaphone is blaring and fight to win, not fight to please.
I love michael savage even though I'm only 17 I love to see people inspired to talk about politics even if they think my views are wrong.

This policy been in work for a while now ! why risk it by door to door search, when a 15000 lb bomb, will take care of all the bad guys ??!! Why do you think we have over 600K, civilian casualties?

Politically correct war?
I think you need to learn what politically correct actually means.
<"There is only one tactical principal which is not subject to change. It is to use the means at hand to inflict the maximum amount of wound, death, and destruction on the enemy in the minimum amount of time.">>
thats right, and maybe we should start inflicting it on the enemy that attacked the World Trade center instead of crying about people not wanting to see it inflicted on civilians. Afterall, that is the difference between a terrorist and a soldier...terrorists kill indiscriminately, soldiers kill the enemy.
Do you think we are going to win a war by killing civilians, when the people we are supposedly at war with kill them to??!

I generally agree with your political view. War is hell and there is no such thing as a fair war. Our biggest mistake is that we always have to fight by the rules, like going into a boxing ring. Further, wars are managed by our inept politicians who could care less whether we win or not. We would've nuked the Chinese at the Yalu River during the Korean War. We would've bombed the dikes in North Vietnam. We would've gone all the way to Bagdhad when we drove Hussein's guards from Kuwait, after all Japan surrendered after we nuked them, right. My point is that if we go fight a war, we should go all out in overwhelming force and fight just as dirty as the enemy.

The above perspectives on warfare are correct. Those are NOT political views!
We won the "war" in short order. Now we are imbroiled in "rebuilding" the nation we defeated.
Now, if you want debate on the justification for war, just let me know! I'll be glad to show how our "Commander" was NOT justified, lied to congress, promoted fear among the US population, invaded a country that posed NO THREAT to the US....ad infinitum!

Those ARE NOT "political views"! Those are statements about "how to win a war", and they refer to "traditional" wars, with clearly defined "enemies". Now, if you are asking this in connection with our current "war" in Iraq, I have to disagree. We are not fighting the country of Iraq, although hundreds of thousands of Iraqis have died as we have tried to secure a foothold in the Middle East and an open pipeline to their oil! There is and has not been a clearly defined enemy in Iraq since we toppled Saddam. We create more American-haters every day with our presence there...and they become, by default, our "enemy".
No one in this "war" is fighting for their country, either. So, brutal as the quotes are, and as much as I disagree with the violence and brutality of war in general, they don't even pertain in the current situation.

Politics is going to reason the subsequent Civil conflict! whilst it includes politics each and every person is offended no count who they're or which area they choose. I admit that even I do now and lower back and that i hate politics! this is an ever going, by no potential triumphing conflict. basically this is all in keeping with opinion, no longer actuality!

war is hell and it is brutal. It should only be fought when it is necessary. Human life is far to valuable to fight a war on a whim. The war in Iraq was NOT necessary and did NOT have to happen.

war isnt something that should be started unless that is the last thing to do, and as the US did they had nothing to go to war. that is why we as americans deserve anything that comes at us!! its a tough subject, war can be hard to describe, so these quotes are wrong!

No, I don't agree with all of it, and depending on the actual context, I might agree or disagree with the rest. As for Herr Savage, Achtung! Germany is no longer conservative, thanks to our liberal FDR.
