I was just wondering if anybody knew what happened with the whole iPhone issue going over in congress, as I had heard that some senators were upset over the fact that the iPhone was only working with 1 carrier (at&t), and were perhaps going as far as to consider it "unconstitutional". I was considering using the iPhone legal disputes for my moot court tryouts on tuesday and am just trying to see if there's really anything to work with.

Thank you for your time.

It's not a constitutional issue -- since the govt is not making the law that says iPhones can only work with one carrier.

It may be a federal law issue -- dealing with restrictions of trade, possible anti-trust violation, possibly violation of the DMCA -- but those would be generally civil actions brought against Apple.
