Gotta tell ya my Husband is 60 years and I picture him seeing his dad from day to day in this same position. In fact I have caught a couple of his brothers doing this same mannerism.

Okay my husband sits at the kitchen table and he folds his hands on his lap and shuts hie eyes until I serve the food. then he goes to the other room so I join him and he is there in the computer chair hands folded on his lap and eyes closed. He talks with me but don't care much about looking around... One day I finally said," when I see you in your casket I will already feel adjusted." It is like hes dead .already.

My s/o insists on throwing open the windows in the morning and walking out on the balcony in all his naked glory after showering to "start his day". He's not an exhibitiionist by any means and he's quite distinguished so it's not "visual pollution" but he does this when we are staying in hotels as well.

My husband does not seem to care what he says most of the time. He does not think before he speaks and has hurt my feelings with the things that have come out of his mouth.

He treats his own kid's like they are his brother and sister , doesnt give them chore's to do and expects me and their biological mother's to take responsibility for them emotionally and physically he just wants to spend time without stress.

Yet with my 4 children from my 1st marriage he expects them to do jobs he give's them and when I say the 6 havent done the jobs it's my children he would always have a go at , many a time I had to remind him we have 7 children not 4 so they ALL needed to get discipline and chores the same.

It drove me insane.Even his own son commented this yesterday asking why he treats them all differently I had no answer for it.He said he takes responsibility for your kids by forcing chores to be done but me and (sister) can get away with not doing it .crazy hey.

My spouse of 35 years used to hum tunelessly. Used to drive me nuts. Then he died 3 years ago. Now I'd love to hear that silly tuneless hum again. So my point of view has developed thusly: reconsider what irritates you about your spouse, regain your perspective, and try to remember what there was about your spouse that made you fall in love with him/her.

I would say adjusting the boys in public! I complain everytime he does it, but he never stops, he tells me to look the other way!

It drives me insane that he will blow his nose or what ever at the dinner table. I could just SHOOT him. And after 4 years of complaining nothing has changed.
