My bf broke up with me after 4 years b/c he was suddenly unhappy and I took the break up badly. I also asked him back but he told me to not have hope, he wants to be single, and told me to find another man.
I haven't contacted him since and I just want to know if he might one day call back. Trust me, I am moving on but I just want to know if other people's ex's called back or wanted them back. Has anyone experienced something similar whose ex said the exact same thing but ended up coming back? Thanks

even if they come back u will always wonder when they are going to hurt u again, why open yourself up for any more heartache, as if they weren't happy with u before they won't be now. i have had an ex come back but the same old problems came back because people really don't change that much, and he only came back because life with the new relationship was far worse than the life we had. he only came back for convenience and it didn't last and caused me alot more hurt the second time around.

He's not coming back.
I was actually in the same situation, relationship of 4 years and I left. It was hard to leave, but I had enough of the situation and it was time to move on.
Yes I thought about keeping in touch, calling, just plain, hi how are you and hows life.. you doing ok ... kinda thing. And then I think i will just be opening doors that will be hard to close, and its a sticky situation that I want to avoid altogether.
The situation is not just hard on you, its hard on him as well. Always remember that when one door closes, another opens, we just dont know where we're going till we get there and we can look back in hindsight and see how we're doing now. Best of luck.

Yea eventually you'll run into him again, and if you haven't gotten over him by the time that happens it's hard especially if he still acts the same twords you, but if he did decide to want to get back with you I wouldn't. From experience it just doesn't work.

My ex left me over two yrs ago, I haven't' seen her or talked with her in over 2 yrs, I'm much happier now with my life, and would never let her back in to my space. Good Luck

He is your EX for a reason.
If he comes back, chances are he failed with whoever he left you to go chase. Do not to allow him to consider you a default setting. He isn't a homing pigeon. You don't want him back. He will leave you again.

I dont know about other people but for me when you become an x Im done with you. I dont get this back and forth stuff,most people dont change.

similar but not the same circumstances. however , after he told me to go on ... I did as he said .... he was the one with the regrets , not me. I am happy

well that kinda happend with me but we still talk and he says he loves me and wants to marrie me so if i were you i wouldnt give up! =]
