Lancome- using a small brush to do detail and three color tones- light on the brown bone, the inside corner of the eye and right above the cheek bone. A medium tone above the eye lid (pinks are fool proof on anyone) And a dark tone brush generously in the crease- apply like you would an eyeliner or brush over eyeliner for more intensity.
Getting eye shadows with three color combo is great because you know where to place it one the eye.
If Lancome is too expensive Maybelline is a good substitute.

The best (cheap) brand would be Rimmel. Their mascara is perfect and their eyeliners stay on forever.

The best (more expensive) brand would be Urban Decay. Prettiest colors for eye shadow, and eye liner.

I get my Rimmel at Walgreens or a CVS
and as for the Urban Decay.. you can get it at ULTA, or Sephora.com

Stay pretty!

Cover Girl is pretty good but MAC is much better even though it's more expensive. Cover Girl is good but you have to put on about 2 or 3 coats in order to see it unlike MAC

If you have problems with putting eyeliner like me, I suggest using dual shades of eyeshadow, like putting the darker shade on the double eyelid part and the lighter shade on the lids. then use some mascara with a curler. simple and very pretty.

purple is a versatile colour for all skin tones. =)

i think mascara and eyeliner and i also think that you should put eyeliner on the the top of your top eyelid and then inside on the bottom if that makes any sense and start from the middle to the outside it'll give your eyes a bigger look

i like eyelash curlers then mascara and eyeliner looks pretty only the mascara drives me batty so i stick to dark green eyeliner on the bottom lid cos i have brown eyes so it looks nice but if you can be bothered then liquid eyeliner just on the top lid looks very nice and sixtys like.

I'm really into bare escentuals...You can put it on as is out of the container or you have the option of dampening your brush and making a dramatic "nightime" sheek look...Tons of cute colors...Here's the secret if you wanna be cheap like me..haha..go to Ulta try them all and then by them on ebay...you'll save tons of mulah...Hope this helps!

use products which are not tested on animals. it's the humane thing to do. as far as not overdoing it, blending is the key. i usually go over my "art work" with a cotton ball to blend and remove the excess eyeshadow. a Q-tip works good as far as smudging up your eyeliner a bit to give a more natural look.

you really gotta find what works for you. i like eyeliner because it makes me not look tired, mascara because it brings out my eyelashes. im not big on eyeshadow because it feels like im overdoing it, unless im doing it not to look good but to make a fashion statement, which case sometimes i will wear a lot of black eyeshadow. thats more of a statement though. you just have to see what looks good on you but you can never go wrong with eyeliner.

The best eye makeup is the kind that is made of purely natural ingredients and not tested on animals! Commercial cosmetics are made of poison (really) and the major companies don't even have to tell you what is in their products. We are beautiful creatures and believe it or not you never needed makeup and never will. If you want to wear it for fun, please consider choosing products that don't hurt you, the environment, or helpless animals.
