I recently downloaded GTA2 from the Rockstar Website. I cant activate the cheats though?

Can somebody please give me the correct way to use them?

Tell me...whats the point of cheating? Knowing that the only way you can make any headway in life...incluind a video game...is accomplished only by having to cheat is not only lame...but downright foolish.

And you achieve a sense of accomplishment by doing this?
