Without anything to work with, it's hard to say anything about costs.

If you're able to do something out of your home you don't need to worry about renting a storefront, utilities etc. If you make what you sell, you don't need to worry much about acting as middleman. If you're a carpenter, you'll have high tool costs and transportation, but if you're doing a retail store.....

Dude, we can't say anything actually, you give us nothing to work with.

My work from home sewing stuffed toys business cost less than $500. I do two 'trade show' size events a year and two or three small craft shows, the rest is internet sales. I have two sewing machines, a stock of stuffing bought from a wholesaler about 65 miles from me, access to 5 fabric stores in the area where I use 40% off coupons, and a craft store with discount merchandise for my craft bead needs. I showed a profit in less than 6 months. If I had $15,000 to work with, man o man I'd have people working from home for me doing larger wholesale orders and I could expand in several directions. But as it is, it's my 'at home' job I do after I get home from my regular work.

It really does depend upon the business. If you want to work from home, there are quite a few businesses you could start from your home with that kind of money. The previous answer was a good example.

However, if you are looking to start a restaurant, for example, 15,000 isn't nearly enough. You'd spend a couple of months looking for the right location. Then you'd spend thousands of dollars for an architect to help design the plans with you. Then you'd spend thousands of dollars getting your plans approved by the local authorities.

And then, after all that, you'd be approved to spend hundreds of thousands of dollars on hiring a firm to actually build your
building. And after that, you'd spend tens of thousands of
dollars to install the interior decorations.

And then you'd spend thousands of dollars hiring employees and training them, as well as having them prepare for the grand opening.

And then, after over a year and spending over a half million
dollars, you'd be ready to open the doors and start earning your first dollar.

Starting a business requires a lot of work and dedication. You cannot start a business this week and expect to be earning a good profit next week.

Employees tend to have a "job" mindset whereby they worked this week, so they expect to see results this week (i.e. a paycheck this week).

In business, you don't see results like that.

The prvious answer talked about being profitable after 6 months. You should expect something similar.

Be very careful in your selection, and don't overspend. 15,000 will not go very far in business.

I wish you much business success.

I do not feel Hannity stated that he hated your online business,he simply acknowledged his opinion and that does not imply that all goes to believe him. Now it's as much as you to persuade folks that you just present a crucial provider. If the conservatives hate small industry and most effective wish to support large industry and that's exchanging beneath Obama then wherein has our cash been going for the beyond 12 months. How many small industry can any individual title that acquired stimulus cash or had their industry propped up with our tax bucks after which what number of huge corps. had huge sums of cash passed to them no questions requested. If not anything else it appears like industry as typical in D.C.
