Walking or by bus?

Just kidding. It depends on the speed of the vehicle, doesn't it? How long does it take to get from New York to London? By kayak, a long time. By SST, a couple of hours.

The best way to get the Neptune is to pass by Jupiter first. By passing Jupiter, you can slingshot around to pick up speed. Modern trips to the planets can take advantage of the greater computer power we have available now to find the best way to take advantage of the gravity of other planets. By setting the trajectory just right, you can get to Neptune quickly and with a minimal use of rocket fuel. With this optimization, you could almost certainly make Neptune within ten years. Specifics would depend on when you want to leave. Voyager got to Jupiter in 11 years with much less sophisticated methods of choosing a course.

Depends on if you get any gravity assist on the way. A couple of years with conventional spacecraft.

However if you have a really powerful engine that can deliver 1G acceleration then you can get there in 15 days.

well it depends on the speed but if you really want to know, Neptune is approximately 29.8 astrological units (1 AU is the distance from the sun to earth) from earth. Thus number times the distance from the sun to earth (93.6 million miles) is approximately 2.79 billion miles.
