Absolutely. If I was to find that out today, well I would want to know for the reason that I am 34 and my son has numerous health problems...I would want to know my genetical history, which at this time seems sooooo important. I would want to know essentially who I was, what kind of background my family came from, why I was adopted and why I was placed with the family I was placed with. I would want to know if there were other people that looked like me or shared my mannerisms. As I struggled for many years with an eating disorder I would want to know if other family members (my true birth mother) had struggled with mental health. I would find this fascinating. Maybe or maybe not a relationship would come out of it but I would be more interested to begin with in the story behind my adoption and my genetical history.

No, I don't think I would. At this point, I think I'd just want to know my birth parents' medical history. My childhood may not have been the best but I still love my parents dearly and know they they love me just as much, if not more, and did the absolute best they could for me. I couldn't ask for more than I already have with them.

No, I'd rather pay more attention to the parents who adopted me. After all, I owe them alot for giving all the love that my real parents failed to give me.

No. The people that took care of me, and care for me, are my parents.
