The Syria bombing event sounds as phony as the weapons of mass destruction in Iraq. And if we spread the violence into Iran what a nighmare that will be! Iraq times 4.

A few years ago, the Israeli Air Force, pulled a raid on nuclear reactors being built in Iran and completly destroyed the sites, with zero losses to their own forces.

Israel is quite capable of launching a full land and air war with the government of Iran and defeating her in battle. Israel receives every weapon system that the US has recently upgraded from, so their own military might is something to be feared in the Middle East. And, it is rumored that Israel also has the nuclear bomb, in the event things get out of hand for handling their many Arab neighbors, if necessary..

I sincerely think that one of the primary reasons that the US is in Iraq, and its not for the rich oil deposits, but that does help, is to have a major US military installation to be used as a jumping off point for US Troops aiding any and all attacks against our ally Israel. If we have everything in place in Iraq, it saves lots of time for the US in deploying the troops and equipment to the Middle East from our other foreign and domestic bases.

So, to answer your question, No, I don't think that Israel is trying to hood wink us into blowing up Iran!

Thank you,

Israel is no position to tell America what to do. The situation with the strike into Syria was a real one and shows that Israel is one of the few countries on this earth that doesn't take crap from the Muslims. Tit for tat! Hit me once and I'll not turn the other cheek so you can wipe me out. I'll hit you twice.

We need to lance the boil of the Iranian nuclear threat before we are faced with Armageddon. These arab people are not constrained by the threat of MAD as in the cold war. Their leadership is undisciplined and disorganised such as to allow their nuclear technology to fall into mad mullah muslim terrorists. Syria was undoubtedly behind the Lockerbie bombing and both countries are funding and fighting a proxy war against our peace-keeping troops in Iraq. Try standing up in a pub in any major city in the US or UK and defending their murderous atrocities on our people! I think the most humane outcome is that you would be torn to bits or crucified in public! Israel wants left in peace they have the power and the common sense to sort out the perfidious arab peoples (basically lowly treacherous cowards). They did it in the 6-day war and they did it in 1981 with the bombing of Iraq's nuclear Osirak reactor facility

Israel lives under a constant threat that its neighbours will take military action against it and has done since its formation. Other nations have tried to defeat Israel and all have failed. Israel has the backing of the USA and its neighbours know it. Israel is not afraid to take action against aggressors or potential aggressors and does not need to hoodwink anyone. If need be they will take action against Iran without anyone's elses help (albeit probably backed up with American weapons and financial help).

The United States dose not need to bomb Iran if it really wants to stop the weapons program.

It has several other options, such as a blockade of the Persian gulf or giving weapons to ethnic minority groups.

America can give Iran hell without dropping a single bomb, as such Israel could not convince them to do that even if they wanted to.

the u.s. has a pro-israel agenda, often at the expense of u.s.- arab relations; israel has been shown historically to have a pro- israel agenda
