Was it working prior or just purchased? If new you have to move the wire or switch near the ice maker to the on position (sounds funny, but happened to us). If it's old and now not working you'll have to check line and make sure it isn't kinked or leaking. If all else fails you'll have to call a repair man.

If it has been working in the past and has stopped, then it's possible that you have a plugged filter that need to be replaced. Also the little dial inside the front cover of the ice maker sometimes get stuck from water turning to ice, you may ned to defrost the freezer.
It's also possible that the timer has quit in the ice maker or it has been turned off.
Check the owners manual on restting or turning the ice maker on and off, then check for ant obstructions that may becausing the icemaker to think that it's full. Some ice makers have a tlittle aluminum arm that gets pushed up when there is enough ice, occasionally this get stuck and it stops making ice.
If these simply things do not correct it you will nedd to contact a Appliance repaimen.
Good Luck

the answers above are good, but on more thing does happen... sometimes the feed line/ice maker freezes up... just pour in hot tap water where the cubes are made... you may have to do this more than once... and you will have to clean up the extra water that goes into the ice storage tray...

pour some water into the ice mold and see if some ice gets made and harvested. If it does then it might be 95% you need a water valve

Is the water line hooked up? Ice make in the on position? Shut off valve on? Under warranty?
