Permanent marker will start to fade even after the first wash. It will take a LONG time to fade completely.

Best way to keep a shirt design is to apply it with a special fabric acrylic paint, which is available at most art supply and craft stores. Acrylic is a flexible plastic material that will stand up better agains the stresses of laundry. Hand washing will help the designs last longer.

The most DURABLE fabric designs are silk screened prints. A good silk screen will last longer than the shirt.

Yes it will and to insure that it does you should heat set it with an Iron first so it will last longer Just put the iron on the hottest DRY setting that your material can handle(cotton, polyester, rayon etc...)and put a plain piece of computer paper on top of your design then Iron it for about a minute(paper between iron and cloth) move the paper if it is a big design so as not to burn your shirt and you can rinse it in white vinegar too if you want to be extra sure Generally permanent mark will keep for quite a while if done correctly
Good luck!

Yes it should stay.
It may fade a bit and look like someone rubbed it.
I suggest if you want something to stay buy the certain pens you can get for drawing on shirts and clothing.
After a few washes the permanent marker may come out.
Good Luck =)

It will blur a little bit. Even screen prints eventually disappear after so many washes. Embroidery is the only permanent method.

It would start to fade, eventually. You could draw things in permanent marker and then go over them with fabric paint, though. I have also had luck with acryllic paint.

If you put it in the dryer at high heat for a few cycles BEFORE you wash it (While it is still dry) it will cure it and help it to last longer but eventually it will fade.

Be very careful and examine out this out on some merchandise you do no longer care approximately first. Sharpie everlasting ink won't be black. that's rather a mix of particularly dark violet blues and different dye brokers. that's high quality on its meant floor yet, as quickly as placed via laundering or only moisture like sweat, ink will bleed aside into its ingredient dyes and the darkest of them will easily no longer look black in any respect. you will finally end up with a purplish and maroon spectrum the place you drew the line. I as quickly as did something like this on an particularly dark blue coverall via twist of destiny and it grow to be style of cool to observe the spectrum unfolded like a college technological expertise test with each weekly laundering. think ofyou've have been given concept considered one of those dark and heavy garment does no longer practice a Sharpie ink stain even nonetheless it grew to grow to be lots greater contrasted because of the fact the textile dwindled somewhat and the ink degenerated into greater colours. I discovered why pocket protectors have been invented in any case. The small white areas of your jersey won't take properly to the ink. i assume that's going to be a small quantity yet do no longer assume the white bits to stay white after the 1st wash. i'm tempted to propose attempting a black paint-on gown latex that peels off. i do no longer comprehend the place you will possibly purchase it yet human beings use it to color pretend tuxedos on themselves and then it peels precise off epidermis so that's going to peel off a polyester jersey too??
