Hello, 2 years ago I was diagnosed with chronic acid reflux and a major inflammation in my esophagus and this program had done wonders for me. My heartburn and constant taste of acid in my mouth have all disappeared in less than 2 weeks

I was prescribed Lansoprazole which was brilliant but after two years of aching joints, extreme muscle pain which the doc gave me cortisone jags for, with some research I discovered the drug Lansoprazole was causing these rare side effects but it was I who diagnosed it NOT my doctor, I came off the drug 2 months ago, changed my diet and discovered just eating an apple stops any acid reflux, I eat an apple before bed, brilliant no acid, any time I feel the slightest sign of reflux I simply eat an apple.
Apple juice is not that good nor is anything else I have tried including honey at stopping reflux.

* Carbo Veg 200 (liquid): take 6 drops of Carbo Veg 200 in half cup of water after meals twice a day
* Natrum Phos 6x (tablets): take 4 tablets of Natrum Phos 6x after meals twice a day (for 2 months only)

Drop Natrum Phos 6X after 2 months and continue with Carbo Veg 200.

Note: Keep 30 minutes time difference between medicines and do not take anything after 30 minutes of taking medicines

Milk of magnesia is too strong for babies in any dose. Just call a 24 hour ask-a-nurse or helpline. It is not worth giving her something she is not supposed to have that could make it worse. It might not be acid reflux, don't risk it...just call someone for help.;)

you really shouldn't be diagnoising a medical problem on your own. Don't give your baby anything, If you can't wait for the weekend......go to the ER or call your doctor.

You can get baby some infact gas drops that will give relief. Give that a try.
Monday morning get an appointment with your doctor

Well My son is 9 mo old now but we battled acid reflux for six mo!!! anyhow getting the docs to diagnose it took forever but the first thing they had us do is give him maalox (maximum strength) should be berry flavor thats how you will know its the right one and start with 1ml at first, you can do this before each feeding, works best if you can do it about 10min before! But in our case we had to end up getting on perscription med to get it under control, but for now this should help some...I hope!:) let me know, hope I helped!!!

Call the pediatrician, usually there is a nurse's line, or someone who can call the dr. on call. I wouldnt give the baby anything made for adults, im sure theres a warning about not giving it to children without consulting a dr. first on the back. It may be a long night, but just remember itll end soon-ish, and the pharmacy will be open in the morning!! all the best...

my baby had reflux too but there are some important things you need to know. Never feel his or her stomach. This is the worse thing. Give him or her just small amount each time and feed more frequently. let him burp. do not move her too much after feeding. do not raise his legs do not chnage her nappy after feeding. do not give her a bath after feeding. these things really help.

I'm not sure about babies, but adults can use baking soda in a small cup of water. It causes you to burp a lot though. For a baby, I would suggest a tiny-tiny pinch not to exceed the size of your pinkie nail in their bottle with some filtered water. It always works for me.
