A good idea might be to do something with food, especially if you can give samples. One thing would be to do it on, different types of chili/hot peppers and how they get to be so hot - related to the climate/soil they are grown in. You could make salsas to sample. Plus Ive always wanted to know the difference between a $19 and $219 dollar toaster.

Another idea is just how a toaster works. You have both the electical and the mechanical components. Sometimes the best ideas, and ways to learn, are just the simple things.
