No, holiday meals do not necessarily taste better when someone else cooks them. I might have agreed to this back when I was young and my grandmother was still alive and she did the Thanksgiving preparations, but since I am grown up, I have made Thanksgiving meals for many young, single Army soldiers through the years stationed overseas, and invited them to my husband (now an ex-husband) and my family's home throughout the years when we lived overseas.

always! you must not cook. don't start, the expectations are endless. be the relative everyone complains about. they do it behind your back, so you won't even feel bad about it, but you'll always have some good food.
