My husband's ex-girlfriend had his name put on her while they were dating. They were never even engaged, let alone married. I just think it's weird. In a way, I think it's kind of funny too b/c she still has to see his name everyday knowing she's not the one who ended up with him...

There are a thousand ways to show your spouse that you love her/him. Putting their name on your skin is just crazy. I wouldn't even put my own name on my skin.

Yes I have my husband's name under a jade coloured rose and even though we're seperated he's getting a jade coloured dragon on his back.He has a scorpion on his left shoulder , his ex wife's star sign.He's covering that and the unicorn above it to hide it.
I dont regret having it , I always swore I would never do it , I am just lucky that I can either place 2 letters in front of it and 1 at the end it reads "STRONG" .I made darn sure I could change if it all went wrong , you have to really think about things like this , if your thinking about getting a tatoo to do with your spouse try star signs or the chinese horoscope signs.

Yup my ex HUSBAND still has my name on his arm, and my kids name. On the other arm he has his new wifes name all huge im like ur a dork get my name off but he wont

I would never get a man's name tattooed on my body....that's like the kiss of death!
The only person's name I would ever get tattooed on me is my daughters', or my late mother's.
No one that I know of has my SO's name tatted on them....unless you count his ex, who has a tat of Oscar the Grouch!

No.....but my ex husband and an ex boyfriend have mine on them. I don't think it's a very good idea.

I always heard it was taboo to put a name on you. Cause sure enough something would happen and you could be like the other girl
