I often ask that very same question. . . And I come up with the very same results you came up with.
He thinks that the taxpayers will pay too much for the SCHIP plan, but yet insists on asking us to spend BILLIONS on a war that we should have never started. I don't understand the logic, but that may be because I am trying to USE logic to understand Bush.

You answered your own question and answered it right.
Not only that, but there are plenty more examples of the same thing.
My favorite: the Bush administration spends millions (maybe billions) on ensuring that Iraq has a heavily pro-secular educational system to steer the Iraqi kids away from the blind, stupid, religious teachings that were the norm during the days of that jerkoff Hussein.
Meanwhile, in America, the Bush administration gives teachers the green light to teach our kids that intelligent design makes perfect sense and is a viable alternative to evolution.
Why thanks, I do recall that mankind coexisted with dinosaurs. I think my grandfather told me about how he used to hunt brontosaurs and hang their heads in his cave.
I weep for the future.

Bush is a spoiled rich kid who cares about nothing except feeding his own desperate ego. He wanted to graduate from Harvard, so his daddy's influence bought him a diploma. He wanted to be a fighter jet pilot (without the 'inconvenience' of serving his country), so his daddy's money bought him a chance to 'suit up'. He wanted to be an oil tycoon, so his daddy's business associates anted up the investment money. Then he wanted to be President and play Commander-In-Chief, so his daddy's power got him the job. Bush is a loser that cares about no one or nobody other than his tight-knit circle of wealthy elitists, industrialists and power brokers for whom he initiated this insane, evil, unconstitutional, immoral 'war'. -RKO- 10/14/07

definitely not middle eastern people. definitely not americans. i think the mistake alot of people make (in the US and elsewhere) is believing that money grubbing, self-serving, meglomaniacal politicians ever cared about the average person in the first place.
as for who exactly he cares about, i'm not sure. alot of times people in Bush's position become so drunk on power they cease to care about family, friends, etc. However, like most presidents, i'm pretty sure he cares very deeply about being powerful, having everyone in his path step aside, bow down, or kiss his a***, being able to take lives with impunity.
presidents, leaders, etc...have a God complex. when an average person has a God complex, he/she is labeled mentally ill. when a person becomes president and develops a God complex, the band stands up and plays "hail to the chief".

quit your whining
more than 60% of those already useing the kids insurance bill are adults!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
President Bush veto'ed the dems attempt at socialized medicine. Thank him
The dems agenda isnt for kids at all. It is for more people switching from private to government programs. CAN YOU SPELL SOCIALLISM?
If you cant afford insurance, you need to budget better. Loose the computer, cell phones and suv. Why do you expect something for free? Nothing in life is free.

President Bush cares about both issues. Only the Terrorists and Liberal Democrats that want the Government to give them everything free, hate our caring President.

From one of my friends, who just got back from Iraq, after having an IED explode on his truck and waking up about 12 days later, he says..."Bush only cares about his legacy. If he cared about anything else, he would have sent us better equipped. the idea to equip us better didn't even occur to him, until after we started writing our congressmen."

He's an oilman, he cares about oil. He cares about people and countries that make him oil, no matter what it does to our people. He doesn't give a rats butt about us, because if he would have, he wouldn't have vetoed health care for children.
