Sour grapes comes from an old fable about a fox who was unable to find a way to reach some grapes. The fox, denying that he ever desired them, said "those grapes are sour anyway." Basically, sour graping is putting something down just because you weren't able to attain it.

Sweet lemon -- no idea.

Read Aesops Fables
A fox went through a vineyard and saw some grapes. He tried to jump up and eat them, but he never could quite reach them. He walked away saying, "Well, they were probably sour anyway."
It's like putting a negative explanation on something that you can't have.
Have you ever had a car that was a real junker. It kept breaking down. It was a lemon. But you kept the car because you really liked the color, the style, the car. That was really a sweet lemon of a car.

Sour grapes is when you can't have something, so you say you don't want it anyway. It comes from the Aesop's fable the fox and the grapes. The fox couldn't reach the grapes after trying and trying, until he gave up and said "they were sour anyway."

Sweet lemon is when you have something, and you try to deceive yourself that it is better than what you actually have. Say for instance someone has a very tiny cramped apartment, they might say they are happy with it because it's cozy. Maybe they don't really feel that way, but it's a way to deceive others or themselves that they are happy.

The expression "sour grapes" comes from the idea of calling grapes sour if you can't have them. It basically means criticizing something because you can't have it or take credit for it yourself.
