im 16 yr old 6' my penis is 4 when soft and 8" when erect. my elder bro is 18 yr old 6'2" his penis is i guess 1.5 when soft, the head just show in his pubic and 6" when erect. he has more hair in pubic, armpit, legs and face..i have very few hair in my pubic, legs, armpit and none in my face. i dont know how big my dads penis but i think it is also big since the last time i saw it when i was 12. where brothers why we have this diferences? please explain. thanks

I HOPE the answer is because since you were only conducting an innane experiment your brother wasn't as tumescent as he would be during a normal sexual encounter...(sometimes you're going to be larger than other times just as sometimes you're more excited than at other times). Then too, blood circulation has a lot to do with the quality of your erections. My question is, do you both have these little measuring sessions often? And if so, why?

Most of the peopls answers on here are WRONG. Penis size, shape, and color is the one thing you inhearet only from your father. It comes from the Y cromozone of which your mother doesnt have.It is EXTREAMLY LIKELY that yu and your brother have different fathers, almost a certanty with that much difference.

I don't remember the exact terminology but some men have retreating penises while others just hang out. Men with retreating penises, their penis kind of... sucks back in when they are not in an aroused state. But it grows a significant amount when they are aroused.
Yours just hangs out. it doesn't grow or shrink much.
As for length when you two are aroused:
A) it shouldn't matter.
B) You are just more gentically "gifted". Or maybe you're just adopted. :P

It's just the way it is sometimes. You may be more like your dads side of the family and your bro may be more like your moms side of the family. you'd have to be a genetics expert to adequately answer your question. You both sound pretty normal so stop worrying and just enjoy what you have.

just cos you're brothers doesn't mean your size is gonna be the same. e.g, my older brother is big while i'm average. everyones different. also, i find it hard to believe that something 1.5 when soft can get out to 6. that's like it getting 4x bigger.
