No disagree you are somebody before somebody catches your eye. Then life takes on a new meaning. You are somebody before but when love comes into view you become more aware of different aspects of your life. Love makes you appreciate your life. Makes you want to get up in the morning knowing someone is out there loving you.Your life takes on a new meaning . But you are somebody and feeling extra special knowing someone else cares for you deeply. I know I am somebody cause I am loved.

Love is acceptance, recognition, respect and it gives a sense of belonging. It doesn't only mean romantic love, being loved by a parent, a sibling, a true friend is enough to make you feel like indeed you are somebody because you're important to a particular person.
I also think that it's kinda extreme that you're Nobody. But I'd probably stick with yes.

No. You don't need a lover to be someone, but you need to learn to love others. Then, you can become someone. A lover just makes you even more complete.

You're nobody till you love yourself.
Once you can love yourself, you can truly love others.
Having a S.O. is not a necessity. But it can be a marvelous luxury.
