I saw the Shining which made by Kubrick something that made in 1980. This movie is amazing one I ever seen. Almost great acting, sweet plot, but not very scary! well, those twin girls are creep me out alot. But I want this movie to be best horror movie I ever seen and how do I scare of next time of watching the shining?

Try watching it with all the lights out and in surround sound! The music gives the scary scenes more of a frightening effect. ^_^

Watch it in the dark, while you're alone in the house. Or better yet watch it alone in a dark hotel room. You'll think twice before stepping out into the hallway.

I'm lost lol, but go to google and type shining parody, theres a commercial that makes it look like a fun loving comedy ahahhaha

Try to see it in this way:
Think You are "Jack Torrance" the character which played by
"Jack Nicholson"
Now While seeing the movie You know you ll kill your wife and son soon.
Its the thing scares you.

I love that movie! One of my favorites. I didn't find it too scary either, but Jack Nicholson's acting was great.

Its good, but the remake that Sci-Fi did was great also. It was a mini-series. You should ck it out.
