It probably has the dreaded Tomato blight,which makes them turn rabid.!
As it's highly contagious,you need to be quarantined and disinfected with fungicide.
Sadly,you will never be able to reproduce tomato babies ever again :,,,(

Possibly........ when in your garden do you hear a deep voice singing "Attaaack of the killer tomaaaatoes"? if not then it may just have a bad attitude, or it may be trying to recruit the rest of your fruits and vegatables into a grass roots millitia or a veggie extremist terrorist cell. just to be safe step on it and turn that sucker into ketchup!!!

Martinez CA has an area backyard. that's on city sources. that's fences, has water, and soil is more advantageous with compost. i think of the city costs $35 per year for a plot. the persons who use it must be exceptionally committed, as that's continually neat. perhaps you may get your city involved.
