The Big Bang is just a theory, and that's all it will be until someone can actually find enough evidence to prove this actually happend. But something cannot come from nothing. So where did the first atoms come from? Was there another universe before ours? Nobody knows. Most likely..these questions won't be answered in our life time nor the next generations or the one after that, so this is something we all honestly do not need to be worrying about. Just stick to your beliefs. If you believe god created everything then think that. If you believe this is all scientific and has nothing to do with creation by god, that's fine too..but in all honesty..it really isn't as big of a deal as you all are making it seem.

The Big Bang does not in any way prove or deny the existence of a God. It is simply the most plausible theory as to the creation of the universe that we have, and it is supported by some very compelling evidence.
The expansion of the Universe is a fact that can be verified by examining the spectral shift of the light from distant galaxies, Edwin Hubble discovered this nearly a century ago. The "residue" from the Big Bang can be observed as the "cosmic background radiation", accidentally discovered by some scientists at Bell Telephone Labs who were looking for a pervasive source of microwave interference.
Observations from the Hubble telescope and the Kobe sattelite also support the Big Bang.

I'm a Christian, too.
I'm also a firm believer in scientific findings and theories based on observation and solid mathmatics.
The 'Big Bang' was not a chemical explosion, it was the creation of all matter, energy and time itself.
Whether God had a hand in this, I do not know, nor will I speculate, so as not to inflame the tempers of Chistians or scientists.
We are all free to believe what we want to believe, and I fully support that notion.
It's important, though, to not force our beliefs upon others...

Well I know God created Earth... but if that's not it I dont really think that chemicals really had to do with the big bang. I think that all the stuff that was in space before the universe was created just kind of kept rotating and made this huge mass of energy which just kind of sat around for awhile until nothing in space could really rotate anymore.. so I think that huge mass of energy basically absorbed so much stuff that it created the universe... so here we are. :)

"...some chemicals collided..."
Perhaps you should fully understand what is being theorized before knocking it down.
But I have to allow that you've been brought up in a culture that purposely shields you from anything that does not glorify the christian god as all-powerful. Not your fault you've been lied to and had information withheld from you.

well, any athiest would probably ask you where God came from in response to that. I believe in God too...maybe God made the big bang long before he created earth and it's not in the Bible because it would have confused the people back then.
see lol. the guy below me just did.

Get over yourself. Who says that God didn't cause the Big Bang?
Honestly, neither Creationism or Big Bang is 100% right. If God created the universe...who created God. Something cannot come from nothing.

BIG Bang: LAW Law: LORD Lord
BTW, didn't BIG LAW say to Little Law: Sit! Ps 110?
So then, what's with "Jesus": "standing" in Acts 7:55
Abomination of desolation standing where it ought not?
Pst; As for (plural) God (Elohyim):
God(s) "created" AND "made" things:
- in our image: created by Creator + destroyed after
- after our likeness: made by Maker + loved for ever
Everything God made, or let, turned out good only x6,
and then, well, it's very good the seventh time looking.
As for Christ-ian, well,
Christ is the end of the law: Romans 10:4
Christ is NOT the mend of the law: Luke 5:36,37
Hmmm, didn't Judas "burst", by mixing grace + law?
Can we move on to the "made" part,
especially the made perfect part of:
- made one proselyte: Matthew 23
- made perfect: Hebrews 5
The GRACE of our Lord Jesus Christ [be] with you all. Amen.

I agree with you dude..these smart-@ss scientists keep on saying that big-bang theory sh!t...One more I hate is that Evolution Sh!t...We were studying it at school...we were studying the years and sh!t..I told my teacher that we do not need to learn this whole billion years ago back then thing...cuz' all we need to know is the Seven Days..the Days of The Creation...
I'm Catholic so I'm really irritated by those smart @ss scientists fussing and making up theories...
