Now if folks can get the Bull Fighting community a spot, even if you have to get to it from a back door, why can't the Pagan Community get a Pagan subset?

If you go straight from clicking the Answers up at the top, you'll have a list of Society & Culture that does not include Bull fighting.

Pagan is not a religion. It's an umberalla term for non-Christians that was used by Romans. Paganus the people of the fields and Forests. If you want to be completely historic ir is those who escaped the slaughters when Constatine made Rome Christian and again when the protestants sacked Rome.

If they give Pagans our own category, then the Christians esp., the Atheists, Agnostics, Muslims, etc. will pitch a fit. Plus you know that we wouldn't stay out of R&S.

The society and culture section is quite diverse, I suppose reflecting the wide variety of people that use it. I have no idea why there is a seperate section for Bullfighting, why in that case don't they have one for dog fighting or badger baiting?
On the British site there is also a section included for the Gay community.
Paganism is abroad subject and can cover anything from tree conservation to transcendental meditation.
I guess Yahoo would say that these areas are covered under other headings.

Yes, that sounds fair. Why not? There should be room for everyone. And, how can a person get to Level 6 with only 4 BA's? I didn't know that was even possible.

The Bull Fighting category is blocked to American users. You have to go to the bottom of your yahoo page, go to the international flags on the bottom, and click on the New Zealand flag to gain access.

its a religion right? so...it belongs there. as far as i know no other religion has a subset of their own. unless i misunderstood u.
i agree with guy above me. if u want your own then demand it. the squeaky wheel gets the grease you know.

umbrella term for non-christians? so. u want a catagory that excludes them? i thought this was supposed to be a meeting to the minds. all are included here. or did i misunderstand u ?

It will be a combination of popularity and loudest voices. If you want a pagan forum, you and your pagan friends need to shout about it.

What are the two sets of subsets you refer to?

Pagan is a religious concept.

It's a place for ALL religious and spiritual topics, not just Christian ones.

It's kind of funny, they have subsets for dinning out that include every country and every city.but they lump all the Religion & Spirituality stuff together.

that would be pretty scary if yahoo set up a pagan category. they don't want there to be a separate category for withcery or demon stuff. If they were to set up a relgion subset, it would probaby be christianity, judaism, buddhism, etc
