How you dress is only half the battle. Are you slouching? Fidgiting? Body language says more about you than your clothes do. Anyone can buy or borrow a 200.00 suit, its how you come across in it that matters.
Make sure you always look the interviewer in the eye, have pen and paper with you to take notes, and find out information about the places your applying with and use that knowledge by asking questions. Don't look down, fold your arms, drum the table, and amke sure you smile.

I think it is important to wear a suit to an interview unless you are in a more artistic field...even as a woman I always wear a business suit. It might also be helpful to go to your college's career center and have them look over your resume and do a practice interview or two. They may also be able to connect you with alumni who can be helpful.

No. Maybe its your personality. Go in like you are the best man for the job. Let your confidence show on the outside. Also be patient. Everything will work out for you.

No flip flops. No visible tattoos. No strong cologne. No pony tails, green hair, jeans, or questions about salary on the first interview.

the nicer you look the more chances you'll get the job.. you just have to keep bugging them about the job until they finally give it to you.
