How do you put fractions on microsoft word?

well on some verson on microsoft works you can put a fraction like 5/4 and press enter. then it would appear as a fraction but otherwise it will stay that way. try it out and see if it works!

I don't have Microsoft Word so I downloaded the free version of OpenOffice.org and it let me do pretty much anything that word or excel let me do. But I think Spinner Rocks! has the right idea.
