The first answer is correct. The four she gave in her answer are the only current captains in MLB, as the other 26 teams don't have captains.

Not every team has a designated captain. For example, the Cleveland Indians do NOT have a team captain, and they beat the Yankees, whose team captain (Jeter) failed them in the playoffs this year.
