My, there's a touchy little subject. They are both excellent schools, academically. If it were me (and I have been a lifelong Angelino) I would choose UCLA for location. L.A. is a dangerous city. But Westwood is considerably safer to live in than downtown L.A. The degree you achieve from either school will be equally valued, unless you're going for a cinematic career.
