It depends on what you mean by "the person you are living with" -- if they are a tenant, or co-owner, their rights vary.

As a co-owner, there is very little you can do -- if they are a tenant, you can make it one of the requirements of their lease.

Other than that -- your only other real option is a restraining order through the court -- but you'd need a very good reason.

I'm not so sure that you can. If you have someone living with you even if you own the house, he is legally living there. It would be the same legal concept as a landlord prohibiting you from having friends over.

You will need to evict the person who is living in your house and then his friends will have no legal right to come upon the property.

We really get ourselves into a legal mess when he take on a room mate.

WHY do you wish to prohibit them from entering the house? Unless you have grounds for a restraining order, you may not be able to keep them from entering as your house-mate's guests. Whatever laws apply WILL vary by location. There is rarely a legal question for which location is not required to give a proper answer.
