The debate is still going on about man made climate change.

of course the climate's changing, it goes in cycles. if you look back on records from a hundred years ago, the climate was more similar to today's than fifty years ago. global warming is being exaggerated to make money, especially in book sales by a certain ex-vp. it gives the presidential candidates another pointless topic to argue over while real problems could be solved.

I'm sure there are -- but as with most such debates, the two sides are really arguing entirely unrelated issues.

General scientific consensus is that something is causing a global climate shift -- how much of one, how quickly, and how badly are still being worked out.

And nobody (rationally) can deny that man has something to do with it -- dumping billions of tons of toxins into the atmosphere and cutting down millions of square miles of forest has to have SOME effect -- so the only question is, how much is mankind's contribution, and how much is a naturally occurring phenomenon.

But people seem more concerned with arguing about the definitions than actually trying to find solutions -- which, sadly, is also common.

There is no such thing as man made climate change.
If so, how did man get to Mars or the other planets which are also undergoing climate change.
Sigh.....

You are correct, the debate is about whether man is or is not the contributing factor.
A person cannot dispute the valid scientific evidence that indicates a 0.7 degree rise in temperature - one can, however, dispute the cause.

Climate change is going on but the debate is it man made or not.

I happen to think an ex-vicepresident making money off it should be consider an expert.

Nobody denying climate change.
We just denying that it is all man-made.
Do we know what temperature was 100,000 years ago without private jets and carbon footprint?

Yes, some people here in central Kansas still deny that the climate is changing. Same folks also deny evolution.
