Currently my 98 Altima has two different tire sizes. Front 205/45/16 and back 195/55/R16. All four wheel sizes are 16X7JJ. Thinking of putting all four new tires. Please suggest is it possible to put all four same size tires? I don't want to spend too much to chage the wheels. Thanks

Actually someone beat you to changing the wheels 1998 Altima had 15" steel or aluminum wheels. In 2000 the High Grade Altimas came out with 16"x 6 JJ. The actual correct size tires are 205/55 R16T tires and the SE altima came equipped. with 205 /55 R16H tires. So it is up to you to find 4 tires some where between 195/ 55 /16 and 205 /55/16. Running a lower aspect ratio like 205/45/16 probably was an effort to correct a slow speedometer. Just remember those 4 contact patches are all you have to control your car buy the best tires you can. IF your wheels are actually 7" wide I reccomend 225/40/16 or 225/45/16 Firestone FireHawk or Bridgstone Pontenzas

98 Altima is not 'old' as you said. Buy new. 60K is my best bet.
